Penalties under Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules 2011

Applicable same to all states

Failure to register with the Director of Legal Metrology or State Controller of Legal Metrology Manufacturers/Packers/Importers 32 (1) Fine of four thousand rupees.
Contravenes any other provision of these rules, for which no punishment has been provided either in the Legal Metrology Act or in the rules. Manufacturers/Packers/Importers 32(2) Fine of two thousand rupees.

Penalties Under Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999

Applicable same to all states

Penalties under Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940
